A guarantee of this quality and this expertise, we use these same strains for the production of 15,000 tonnes of trout within the Groupe Aqualande, the leading freshwater trout farmer and processor in Europe.
A major player in rainbow trout selection, we have been investing in R&D since 1981. The “Aqualande Origins” strain is selected within the Group itself, in the heart of the Landes region, thanks to an innovative PROSPER optimized technological selection process (partnership with Sysaaf and Inrae) with genealogical indexing, developed on our lines.
To date, 15 generations have already been selected using this high-tech process!
